Our ED&I solution

We understand the importance of fostering diverse and inclusive workplaces within our organisation and for our clients.  We believe broader perspectives, experiences, and skill sets improve business results. That’s why we offer tailored ED&I services to our clients, helping them build diverse workforces through progressive strategies and inclusive hiring practices.  By providing open access to untapped talent pools, we empower our clients to create cultures where everyone can thrive and contribute to their fullest potential.

Additionally, all our job opportunities are advertised on Diversity Jobs Recruit, ensuring equal opportunities for underrepresented talent, and furthering our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

UNIFY: Empowerment in action

Our dedication to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion thrives through our Employee Resource Group, called UNIFY, which cultivates a diverse and inclusive workplace by embracing differences and championing authenticity.

This commitment benefits our customers, providing them with a broader talent pool and more opportunities. Our focus on EDI is shaping Tate’s future.

Our approach in action

Educating for inclusion: ED&I training

We provide our employees with regular training on diversity and inclusion topics, including unconscious bias, cultural competence, and inclusive communication. This training empowers our team to understand and appreciate the differences among our staff and customers, fostering respectful and inclusive interactions.

Lunch & learns: Shaping perspectives

From creating a psychologically safe culture, we’ve seen the impact of personal storytelling first hand. Our employees share their challenges, impacting hearts and minds while raising awareness on critical topics such as mental health, menopause, dementia, neurodiversity, disability, LGBT+, religion, ethnicity and more.

Podcasts: Everyone’s Got Talent

We discuss critical topics affecting business and society, raising awareness of hidden talent, and supporting businesses in creating better, more sustainable companies. Becky Webber, Operations Director & EDI Lead for Tate, talks to experts about reaching new talent communities and supporting career growth, offering practical tips and advice for listeners to take away and action.

Policies and Toolkits: Building inclusive environments

We’ve implemented policies ensuring our workplace is free from discrimination, harassment, and bias covering areas like recruitment, promotion, and training. In 2024, we launched the Menopause Toolkit for Managers, always aiming to support our people through every stage of their lives.

Accessibility: Ensuring inclusivity for all

We’re committed to making our services and facilities accessible to all customers, including those with disabilities.  We utilise Recite-Me on our website to enhance accessibility for everyone.

As part of our dedication to creating equal opportunities, we are proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and a RIDI ‘Highly Commended’ Award Winner (Recruitment Industry Disability Initiative).  Our commitment extends to guaranteeing interviews for prospective employees with disabilities, provided they meet the minimum criteria, demonstrating our commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Our Partners

Collaboration is critical to driving impactful change.  At Tate Recruitment, we’re proud to partner with leading organisations committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Together, we strive to create inclusive workplaces where everyone can thrive.
