Accounts Assistant
Location: Tring
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (office-based with one remote day per week)
Salary: £25,000-£28,000 (dependent on experience)

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their dedicated team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work closely with clients, manage their financial processes and contribute to the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving incoming invoices and submitting to clients for approval and PO requests
- Raising sales invoices, handling purchase and sales ledgers with expertise
- Dealing with contract checking
- Handling prepayments, managing client funds and credit cards for smaller deposits
- Dealing with payments using client corporate credit cards
- Calculating and agreeing commission due
- Deducting agreed commission, when making payments on behalf of clients
- Manage payment processing for clients, with a strong focus on accuracy
- Collaborate with clients to ensure smooth financial operations
- Support the Accounts Manager and Commercial Director in finance-related tasks
What They are Looking For:
Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant, with a working knowledge of accounting entries
Hands-on expertise in processing invoices and managing purchase/sales ledgers
AAT qualified or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, experience with SAGE is a bonus
Excellent communication and customer service skills with a confident telephone manner
