Purpose of the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our Centre Management team as a Retailer Liaison and Administrative Support. This role is integral to the smooth running of the Centre Management office, involving direct interaction with our retailers to support their business needs and gather essential feedback on sales and trading performance. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, assertive, and capable of building strong relationships with our retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strong working relationships with all 67 retailers within the shopping centre, including brands such as Flannels, Next, Primark, JD Sports, River Island, Boots, Skechers, and Pandora.
- Actively engage with retailers to gather feedback on sales and trading performance, maintaining regular face-to-face and written communication.
- Promote and manage the use of the centre's communication system to ensure effective communication between store managers and the Centre Management team.
- Support the Centre Management team by providing administrative assistance, such as maintaining an organized filing system, both electronic and hard copies, and managing general office duties.
- Serve as a point of contact for emergency procedures, updating and managing the Centre's evacuation policy and tenant handbooks.
- Update retailer keyholder information regularly and manage the annual distribution and collation of occupier surveys.
- Respond professionally to all queries and complaints, ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Assist in fire safety tenant monitoring checks and compile paperwork for ISO 14001 accreditation to demonstrate commitment to environmental protection.
Training:
- Familiarize yourself with company health, safety, welfare, fire, and environmental arrangements.
- Complete all mandatory training and attend additional training as necessary to enhance your role.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous administrative experience is preferred.
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
